- Former ROH World Champion, Adam Cole, was telling fans who asked at this past Saturday’s Pro Wrestling Guerilla show in Reseda, California, ‘Black Cole Sun’, that he had re-signed with ROH. Cole didn’t however say that it would be his final PWG show, which PWG founder Joey Ryan confirmed on Twitter. Ryan also confirmed that last Saturday’s show was also Kyle O’Reilly’s last show, who dropped the PWG Championship to Roderick Strong.
In recent months there have been rumors that exclusively contracted ROH stars, such as Adam Cole, reDRagon, The Briscoes, Jay Lethal and Michael Elgin would begin being pulled from independent events, such as PWG, as ROH management would now take control of their outside appearances when not competing for the company. Tommaso Ciampa who is also under ROH contract was telling fans that he, as well as Cedric Alexander, would still be appearing at PWG. It’s unknown whether ACH will continue appearing. Roderick Strong doesn’t have an ROH contract and has been working for them without one for the past six months.
