So why do this (which made no sense) instead of building up a Loser Leaves Town match with her and Brooke? Then you have the natural Brooke vs. Angelina feud after that, too.

because Feast or Fired is a good idea except for the one detail that screws them up every freaking year. The 'Fired' briefcase which sometimes has worked with guys leaving the company, but for most of the rest, they need to figure out how to use this dumb stipulationBig Red Machine wrote:So why do this (which made no sense) instead of building up a Loser Leaves Town match with her and Brooke? Which is dumb on their part. They should be using it like an MITB for all of the divisions. They should figure it out well in advance and use that as a starting point to plan their angles for the year.cero2k wrote:because Feast or Fired is a good idea except for the one detail that screws them up every freaking year. Re: Why [SPOILERS] took the Feast or Fired 'Fired' Briefcase
I don't think even WWE does that and they (TNA and WWE) just have these as security blankets and eventually start to consider how to use them. The only problem i see here is the fired briefcase which can't be overriden by a match outcome or anything. Losers don't even get sends off and TNA has to figure out how can they use it on. It's just a stupid thing to have in any promotionBig Red Machine wrote:Which is dumb on their part. They should be using it like an MITB for all of the divisions. Re: Why [SPOILERS] took the Feast or Fired 'Fired' Briefcase
I think they always have a plan for MITB. Looking back, I don't doubt that Sandow won MITB because they thought he was expendable as someone to job to Cena. I think they've always had a plan for Rollins. I think they've had a plan for everyone when they won it. It might have had some wiggle room, but I think there is always at least the brief outline of a plan. With Feast or Fired in particular, where you need to do it for three titles, it actually seems like a really helpful tool to use as a starting point to plan out your year because you need to figure out who is cashing in which title shot and when, and what the angle will be, and from there you need to decide who the champ will be, and ho to get the champ and the challenger in the position you need them to be in by the time you need them in that position.cero2k wrote:I don't think even WWE does that and they (TNA and WWE) just have these as security blankets and eventually start to consider how to use them. Re: Why [SPOILERS] took the Feast or Fired 'Fired' Briefcase
well, there will always be the plan of pushing this guy a notch or two, but i think it's a little bit of both for the MITB. some of them you can tell it's clear they have a plan like Kane, RVD, Cena, Del Rio, Orton, or Dragon; some others i think that had the briefcase, and while the plan is still just push these guys, they didn't have a clear path to get there like Ziggler, Punk, Swagger, Sandow, or Edge.Big Red Machine wrote: I think they always have a plan for MITB. Feast or Fired, by not having those plans, I actually like how they get played out more, because i never know what to expect. Hernandez' cash in and the latest Storm cash in being perfect examples, i wasn't expecting either to play out the way they did. I wasn't a big fan of the direction either took, but the whole cash in was surprising.
