Since 2006, Westside Xtreme Wrestling has been running one of the premier wrestling tournaments in the world with the 16 Carat Gold. Previous winners are Baron von Hagen (2006), Chris Hero (2007 & 2014), "Bad Bones" John Klinger (2008), Shingo (2009), Big Daddy Walter (2010), Sami Callihan (2011), El Generico (2012) and Tommy End (2013).

From March 6th to 8th, the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen is going to see the tenth annual 16 Carat Gold Tournament. These are this years participants:

World's Cutest Tag Team (Joey Ryan & Candice LeRae) are going to be active as the special attraction.

Next to the three events itself there is the AMBITION 6 shoot-style wrestling tournament (previous winners: Daniel Bryan, Rico Bushido, Axel "Axeman" Tischer, Zack Sabre Jr. & Sasa Keel).

Also this weekend has loads of activities including the infamous wrestlers vs. fans indoor football match and the official after-show party held next to the artificial lake at the Centro, one of Europe's biggest malls.
