Jey Uso (Joshua Fatu) underwent surgery for the shoulder injury he suffered a month ago and led to him being taken out of the WrestleMania match a minute into the match.

He is expected to be out of action for the next six months.

The WWE web site is going with the storyline that the injury took place at WrestleMania but it was actually several weeks prior.

I think this would be a nice change of pace. It'd be a big opportunity for him to prove that he can go as a singles guy, and if it turns out that he's not that great of a singles guy, the worst that happens is that we get a bunch of fresh match-ups, get to see Jimmy in a role we usually don't see him in, and you can job him out and it really won't matter because you can take him off TV a month before Jey is set to come back and just brush the losses off as he and his brother being tag team specialists.

do you want a tag team to break up? because that's how you get a tag team to break up. i'd say he sucking is the best case scenario, since he just comes back with his brother, but if people get behind him, you can pretty much assume that is the end of the Usos

Yeah, but I don't think people will actually get behind him any more than they would The Usos as a unit. It's not like he has any moves or personality that Jey doesn't. He'll have fine matches and give us fresh match-ups, but I highly doubt he'll catch fire.
