TNA has announced that the King of the Mountain match at Slammiversary this weekend will crown the inaugural King of the Mountain Champion. The company was light on details for the new title, teasing, “What does this mean for the future? What does it mean if, Jeff Jarrett, The Founder of Global Force Wrestling wins The King of The Mountain Championship?”
Bobby Roode, Matt Hardy, Eric Young, Drew Galloway and Jarrett are competing in the match on Sunday’s PPV.

I really really really really really hope they use this as the 'top contender's trophy', something that can only be contested between the top 5 of the rankings table.
this also made me think that with the new color of the x-division, maybe it will be going to GFW and TNA wanted a new title...
