Totally okay with this. I haven't been watching much NXT lately because I'm bad, but from what I've seen of Balor, he's easily my favourite guy in NXT, and probably one of my favourites including the main roster.Big Red Machine wrote:Regarding Finn Balor winning the WWE NXT Title in Tokyo on Saturday, PWInsider notes that the switch was mapped out well in advance and the plan has been for Balor to win the title for a while now.

You haven't missed anything. The show has actually been pretty boring. WAY too many squashes.Serujuunin wrote:Totally okay with this. Watching from maybe a month or so back-I've yet to see any of the "ah I tell ya the action is so much better than the main roster blah blah blah these guys and girls can go so well!"
"Fuck outta here nigga." I'm sorry, but a lot of them suck. It's very boring and quiet at times. Fuck Blue Pants.
For what it's worth for more wrestling viewing, it's cool at times-and just up to the par at that at other times.
I will say though-Becky and Sasha tore it down at the Takeover. It's all I can think of as go out of your way to see . The constant insane nonstop puts main roster to shame shit, just isn't there.

When they come, they'll come at what you love.

they're on a rebuilding phase now that Zayn, Neville, Owens, and their '4 horsewomen' are out. come the Brooklyn show, they should have some good stuff coming.Big Red Machine wrote:You haven't missed anything. They've been in a rut since takeover, both creatively and in the ring because of the big injuries to Zayn and Itami. Go back and watch some of the 2013- early 2015 stuff- particualrly the Zayn-Cesaro matches and the 2nd,3rd, and 4th Takeover shows.KILLdozer wrote:Watching from maybe a month or so back-I've yet to see any of the "ah I tell ya the action is so much better than the main roster blah blah blah these guys and girls can go so well!"

They have actually began building every character as if they want NXT to be its own promotion instead of just developmental. There are a lot of people there now that I don't expect to make it to the main roster, but wwe knows can draw at that Indy level and they can collect some of that money. Enzo, Cass, the Vaudvillians, Dempsey, Rawley, and Breeze have a spot on NXT, but I fear they'd go the way of Adam Rose or the Ascension on the main roster. I'd rather they just stay there bc I am loving this time they are getting. At the moment, let's not forget KENTA and Zayn are injured and those guys provide a lot of excitement. Maybe Valor as champ, the return of Itami, and the heavy hitters like Corbin, Rhino, and Joe will add that big fight feel back. I think it's just that so many guys were hurt during those trappings the decided to work on the more underdeveloped guys. Hopefully guys like Crowe and Jordan can benefit from the exposure, get over some more with the crowd.Big Red Machine wrote:They've been in a rut since takeover, both creatively and in the ring because of the big injuries to Zayn and Itami.
