He talks about winning the title and builds up his rematch against Owens.

DEVIN TAYLOR INTERVIEWS EVA MARIE- pretty good. her delivery still needs some work, though.

EVA MARIE vs. CASSIE- 3.75/10

Eva did some basic wrestling moves (and a Sliced Bread #2). She looked competent, so that training seems to be paying off. I was actually more interested in Cassie, who seems to have inherited RVD’s “kicks instead of punches” gimmick.

TYLER BREEZE ANNOYS REGAL- he wants something “monumental” for Takeover. Well… he’s certainly going to get it.

BARON CORBIN vs. AN ODDLY-DRESSED JOBBER- dud on principle.
Corbin has new music, new lighting and new gear. He beat the jobber in a few seconds. Snore. Seen this for almost a year now.

SAMOA JOE vs. MIKE RAWLIS- I’m getting really f*cking tired of these squash matches.
Joe has new music. It’s better than his old music, but still isn’t good.
They announced that Joe will take on Rhyno in two weeks and I got excited… and then I realized that I’ve seen this match a million times in TNA.

DEVIN INTERVIEWS EMMA & DANA- good

BAYLEY vs. EMMA (w/Dana Brooke)- 5/10
They keep telling us that Emma broke Bayley’s hand, but all they showed us on the replay to hype up this match was Emma making Bayley tap to the Emma Lock and then slapping her in the face. Show me the hand-breaking! That sounds so much cooler and more dastardly.
A good match, though the finish felt a little out of nowhere.

CHARLOTTE PROMO- good stuff. Charlotte will face Bayley soon. Dana Brooke showed up and cut a room in her ultra-annoying voice. This girl can NEVER be a babyface. It’s just not possible with that voice.

THE VAUDEVILLANS vs. ANGELO DAWKINS & SAWYER FULTON- 2/10

DEVIN INTERVIEWS ALEXA BLISS, BLAKE, & MURPHY- decent. Alexa Bliss has an awesome mean face.

BALOR-OWENS CONTRACT SIGNING- pretty good stuff.

Another not-so-good episode of NXT, but at least it feels like they have a direction again.
