Summer Slam

Summer slam was a decent show i didnt care for the 4 hour show but nonetheless their were some quality time for good matches.


Standouts to me were the divas match, it is a very simple story new breed rises against the standard, The tag match in my opinion was match of the night despite the horrible fan reaction for reigns (yes im a roman guy) but i saw it coming, solid back and forth between all 4 competitors and the Roman's sleeping chant was priceless, the story was well told on both sides and Bray took an Epic spear.


Dolph vs Rusev was another brutal display i loved the front flip splash spot. didn't care for the finish but it leads to more matches in the future, The Stardust King Barret vs Neville and the Green arrow was a short good little match i really enjoyed this one as a fan of the gimmicks the payoff was worth the build. John Cena vs Rollins i'm conflicted with this one their was so many high spots and alot of action but i feel John legit was nervous, John IMO has had his best matches this year he's busted his butt working with so many talented guys and holding up his end of the match. Lastly Taker Vs Brock, it was every thing you expected two beasts battling it out, i loved JBL's insight of Taker not having anything to lose and being the old gunslinger, Taker didn't look like the beaten old man from WM30 He looked and reacted like the Taker of old and was IMO their best match even going back to their original feud, Taker even toyed with Brock in some aspects. it was great as a fan of Taker. The finish was a little reminiscent of Taker Vs Angle where Taker tapped but the ref counted to 3.

Agreed. It felt like everything they used that fourth hour for was a waste of time.
