WWE.com has just reported that the injury that Seth Rollins suffered during his match against Kane in Dublin, Ireland, is a torn right ACL, MCL and medial meniscus, which will sideline him for 6-9 months. As a result, a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion will be crowned at Survivor Series.
Looks like BRM got his wish. Also, hype for Deadly Games 2

Crowned how I wonder. Roman is the Number One Contender, but I don't want to see them just give it to him, nor do I think he'd be happy with it. Have another tournament to determine who will face Roman at Survivor Series?

It actually wouldn't be a bad idea to have him be in the tourney, and have that necessitate a heel turn for Roman. Given that Seth's out, I'd be much more keen on turning Roman heel, although Dean will likely be the one to turn, which isn't half bad.

They might do what ROH did with Elgin when Briscoe had to vacate the title. But I think it'll come down to Ambrose and Reigns, then Sheamus will get involved.

I was thinking that this was similar to the situation that ROH found themselves in. Doing that would mean that Roman can't turn heel, though.

They very obviously don't want to turn him heel; especially with Cena out.
