Dorian Roldan of AAA stated today that while Alberto Del Rio would have liked to have dropped the title, he will not be coming back to AAA and his contract wouldn't allow it. So for those keeping score, WWE, TNA & AAA's heavyweight title are all in tournaments, although the TNA tournament is actually over, even though on television it'll last forever. Roldan said their tournament would be at Guerra de Titanes.

Yeah. They let Taz drop the ECW title to Dreamer, why not let Del Rio drop it? Especially since you are apparently looking to capture more of the Latin wrestling community?

exactly, and he doesn't even need to be pinned, just ask AAA to make a 3-way. The only thing for AAA to do now is announce that they had to vacate the title because Del Rio jumped to the US after his whole run was about how he had conquered the US and they had been racist against him and he had been fired and Mexican pride and blah blah blah. Just like the situation made him the biggest face in the country, AAA could easily make him the biggest heel

Yeah. They let Taz drop the ECW title to Dreamer, why not let Del Rio drop it? Especially since you are apparently looking to capture more of the Latin wrestling community?

They probably let the Taz thing happen because Taz got to beat a WCW guy to do it.
