REGAL PROMO- he announces that tonight’s main event will be a battle royale for #1 contendership for the Women’s Title.

ZAYN, JOE, & CORBIN SEGMENT- totally awesome, especially Zayn and Joe. Everyone wants the NXT Title. I was shocked Zayn was able to get his foot all the way up into Corbin’s face. Sami stands tall and proud at the end.

RICH BRENNAN INTERVIEWS BAYLEY- good. For some reason it never occurred to me until now how much Rich Brennan looks like Michael Cole’s illegitimate son.

NXT AWARDS- I fast forwarded it through it.

DANNY BURCH vs. TOMMASO CIAMPA- 3.25/10
Good for what it was.

ENZO & CASS PROMO- good

BILLIE KAY PROMO- I’m pretty sure this is the first time she’s gotten to talk.

DEONNA PURRAZZO- decent
I’m surprised she had time to cut this promo with all of the places she’s been working.

EMMA PROMO- fine

REGAL BOOKS A #1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH- It’s Zayn vs. Joe vs. Corbin in two weeks.

THE ASCENSION vs. DASH & DAWSON- 4/10
The Ascension have been beaten so many times on the main roster that them losing in NXT doesn’t even feel like a big deal despite their place in NXT history.

NIA JAX ISN’T MEDICALLY CLEARED TO COMPLETE- why? Because she got choked out by Bayley weeks ago. I’m calling bullsh*t.

CARMELLA PROMO- okay.

PEYTON ROYCE PROMO- bad. She comes off like a cartoon. Like a really lame version of Poison Ivy (and that’s coming from someone who thinks that Poison Ivy is lame by herself).

ALEXA BLISS! PROMO- great.

“THE DRIFTER” ELIAS SAMPSON vs. COREY HOLLIS- squash
I’m sorry. I just don’t understand this concept of bringing a guitar to the ring and not El Kabonging anyone.

CAMERON PROMO- good

ALIYAH PROMO- okay.

LIV MORGAN PROMO- terrible. She sounds like a fourteen year old mark cutting a babyface promo.

ASUKA PROMO- she’s Asuka.

ALEX REYES INTERVIEWS FINN BALOR- good

WOMEN’S #1 CONTENDERSHIP BATTLE ROYALE- 4.5/10, but fine for what it was.
Are they building towards Asuka vs. Eva Marie, because if they are, Eva’s gonna die. I replayed Asuka kicking Eva in the face several times.
I’m astounded that Cameron let Liv Morgan pick her up for that second powerbomb attempt after the way the first one went.
Emma eliminated Alexa Bliss. BOOOOOO!
Awesome finish, though!
