Report: WWE’s original plans for Dean Ambrose vs. Chris Jericho at WrestleMania 32 revealed

WWE originally planned to do a Chris Jericho vs. Dean Ambrose feud for WrestleMania 32 that would have seen Jericho turn on Ambrose, possibly playing off Jericho walking out on Ambrose and Roman Reigns at Night of Champions 2015.

Apparently several factors led to Jericho vs. Ambrose getting nixed, like AJ Styles coming in and Ambrose being put into the feud with Brock Lesnar. As noted, WWE’s original plan for Ambrose vs. Lesnar at WrestleMania 32 had The Wyatt Family interfering.

You really think AJ vs. Brock & Dean vs. Jericho would have been better than Dean vs. Brock and AJ vs. Jericho? If you didn't want AJ to lose, having him face Brock is by far the wrong option.

I disliked WM and I disagree with you Cero. Ambrose vs Lesnar makes sense in the way they booked it up until WM. Ambrose trying to show that he'll fight anyone regardless of reputation it was a better spectacle. But they gave a glorified squash at WM which was annoying they should have made the match a lot closer to call. But Ambrose vs Lesnar made more sense.

AJ and Jericho is a dream scenario most fans have wanted for the past 10 years and again although the WM result was wrong in my opinion, it was a much better feud and gave fans what they wanted which ultimately was a series of AJ and Jericho matches.

Right choices of matches. Wrong booking at Mania. Having Ambrose vs Jericho would have been okay, but it wasn't AJ/Jericho level and AJ vs Brock to me wouldn't have been good at all.

going by quality of wrestling, yes 100%, both Ambrose/Lesnar and Jericho/AJ sucked
