Yeah. Those people were crazy for thinking Kota had a chance, anyway.

Okay so now that we've wrapped, let's sum up our thoughts going out of this.

Match of the tourney: For me it was Tozawa/ Gallagher. I can't remember the last time I laughed at wrestling more than I did at the pretzel spot.
Runners Up

Ciampa vs Gargano
Cedric vs Ibushi
Kendrick vs Ibushi
Kendrick vs Saez
Tozawa vs Metallik
Perkins vs Swann

Favorite performer: I definitely grew to love Gallagher as a result of this, as well as Metallik, even though I'm not necessarily upset he lost. TJP made a believer out of me as did Rich Swann

People I want to see back next year: Hopefully by next year Ibushi, Gulak or Sabre would be ready to sign full time deals. I also wouldn't mind seeing Aichner, Petiot, Da Mack, Lince, or Jason Lee back. Ho Ho has a performance center deal with the Chinese guys, so bring him back next time and have him get main roster introduced after.

Least favorite. Absolutely despised Anthony Bennett. He looked so bad in the ring compared to the other guys. Kenneth Johnson has an interesting story, overcoming a stutter to get signed for the CWC, so give him some training and I think he has legs. Didn't particularly enjoy Darr in the first round but he has potential obviously.
