PWG/ACH/VIP & Maybe Others Debacle

Post by Big Red Machine » Dec 19th, '16, 10:19

Word going around is that ACH no-showed VIP to work PWG even though he had been booked in VIP for months. Another version of the story has PWG paying VIP some money as a make-good, but it is not clear if they did it before or after, and if it was before, likely with very little notice. Either way, it sucks for the VIP fans who bought tickets to see ACH, and certainly reflects poorly on ACH, and possibly also PWG, depending on what ACH told them in advance.
There is a similar story going around about PWG with Riddle and Dunne for PCW (although I think all reports of that one definitely have PWG paying them).

another promotion is saying that Matt Riddle no showed them for PWG.

PWG posted this yesterday i totally believe in the case of ACH, that it was ACH's fault, he's been shaddy before with bookings. Riddle i think that the promotion just kept promoting him and didn't announce his cancellation, it's happened to him before

That's what I figured it was with ACH. Talent aside, it seems that ROH did make a good move by dropping him, although if you made him sign one of those ONLY ROH (and PWG if it doesn't conflict with ROH or New Japan if they want you) contracts, then I think this would be less of an issue for him.
