UPDATED: According to several sources, Kelly is not necessarily gone from the company but he left his full-time position which in part is due to the time away for his job with New Japan. He is no longer an employee, but ROH still plans on using him as a freelancer in between Japan dates.
His ROH off camera job, which he left, was said to be a high stress job due to his job with New Japan.
There are still plans for him to work on camera with ROH in the future at this point.
In addition, Kenny Omega's ROH return will be later this month at the shows at the end of the month at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. Omega had said in his interview with us that he was planning on working those dates and New Japan confirmed those bookings today.

Word making its way around (via Rovert) is that Kevin tried to make a play to replace Delirious as booker but failed due to Joe Koff seeing Delirious as being "like a son" to him. Rovert did actually say on ROHWorld yesterday that a major ROH news story was going to break soon and has done somewhat of a decent job of establishing credibility, so I'm inclined to believe him on this one. That kind of scares me, as there are clear issues with Delirious as booker- both in terms of creative and the way he communicates with talent (see complaints by Elgin, Cedric, and Martini [and arguably ACH and Silas] this year alone)- that need to be addressed, and if Koff is blind to all of this, then I'm afraid they never will.
Also, the news that Kevin Kelly will still be doing commentary for even some ROH shows is extremely frustrating.

this is how the Dixie/Russo tag team fucked TNA.
Maybe KK will do more pre-taped interviews backstage if 'stress' is the problem

Yes, but Delirious is infinitely more competent than Russo. ROH under Delirious won't necessarily be "bad," but it certainly won't be what it was even two or three years ago. It will probably wind up being an Americanized version of New Japan, with storylines on top that are rarely going to be less than "good" but rarely going to be anything more than that, either, while the undercard becomes a preponderance of meaningless matches that exist solely because "well, we have these guys under contract so I guess we have to use them." The sort of product that will always stay in business but will never catch fire without a drastic improvement in the workrate (even if it's just over a short enough period of time to catch some buzz).
