- For those wondering about the Natalya and Tyson Kidd divorce storyline on Total Divas, there has been no divorce filed and it's part of the show.
- John Cena vs. Randy Orton is currently planned to be the main event of this month's WWE Hell In a Cell pay-per-view.
- As seen on WWE's website and social media accounts this weekend, they have been promoting the Randy Orton RKO Vine videos that went viral this week. WWE is usually late in getting with what's trending but Orton himself was sharing these videos around, which is why WWE is featuring them.

Reality TV is faker than "fake" wrestling!

Doesn't this kind of defeat the purpose of "reality" TV?kirbs2002 wrote:Ugh -_-cero2k wrote:- For those wondering about the Natalya and Tyson Kidd divorce storyline on Total Divas, there has been no divorce filed and it's part of the show.

This is why you should, like I do, watch old wrestling, pre-1990. Back then they had this this little thing called "kayfabe", where when someone went to the media with a line like that, they would be (metaphorically) murdered. They didn't talk down to the fans like "we're just doing this for show, it's all just fake."Serujuunin wrote: Doesn't this kind of defeat the purpose of "reality" TV?

There is NO WAY this can POSSIBLY be true. This would be so dumb on so many levels.cero2k wrote:Source: wrestlinginc.com

Mainsplaining? Never heard that term before. *adds to metaphorical dictionary*kirbs2002 wrote:This is why you should, like I do, watch old wrestling, pre-1990. I never thought that old wrestling was real in terms of people getting murdered or blowng up or giving birth to hands... Lol. For me wrestling was never 'reality tv', it was just wrestling.

And that is a lot of my problem with the way they integrate Raw and Total Divas. They do it in a way that not only makes no sense at all because of the screwed up timelines, but the way they do it clearly tells everyone that this is all being staged. I said it after that very first Total Divas thing they did with Lawler last year: No one will possibly believe that the storylines on your reality show are real (regardless of whether they are or not) if you keep putting them on your fake wrestling show.Serujuunin wrote:They didn't talk down to the fans like "we're just doing this for show, it's all just fake."kirbs2002 wrote: Doesn't this kind of defeat the purpose of "reality" TV?
