Austin-Heyman Podcast

Post by Big Red Machine » Jun 2nd, '15, 08:24

Anyone else see watch this?

I thought it was great.

What did you all think of the WrestleMania tease? Seems a bit mean to tease the match in such detail if it's not going to happen.

I loved it. I love the relationship between Heyman and Austin, and actually, it made me look forward to Heyman coming back to TV. And he seems like a genuinely good guy too. Plus, his imitations were amazing!

The conversation about selling moves was a bit ridiculous. Austin said people don't sell moves like they use to then claimed they sold great in ecw. That is absolute fallacy. I love ecw, but those guys no sold more than any one except Goldberg, Warrior, and Morishima!

it was nice. glad to see they talked about making moves important and incredible how simply Heyman can really make a headlock look strong, and yet WWE can't. Liked that they brought in Punk into talks.

and to everyone saying that the end was a hint for a Austin vs Lesnar match, i'm sure it was just a school for the yougner guys on how to cut a promo on the spot.

there was a report not long ago that Vince was pissed off at the promo at the end because it was hinting at something that they have no plans at all for doing and that it would only make the fans bitch about not getting what they wanted

The way I heard it was that it was something that had in been preliminary talks (the way Austin coming back for Mania every year has been), and once this happened, Vince didn't want them teasing something that would never happen, so he told Austin to make a decision one way or the other, and Austin decided not do.
