Kurt Angle underwent emergency surgery yesterday due to complications that were a follow-up from his surgery last week.

According to his wife, Giovanni, on Twitter, last week's surgery resulted in a large buildup of fluid on his spinal cord, a condition that could have been fatal, and he underwent emergency surgery yesterday.

The surgery went well and he is expected to make a full recovery.

Mrs. Angle noted that Kurt would not be able to travel to London where he was scheduled to appear at the Comic Con.
