COREY HOLLIS & JOHN SKYLER vs. vs. ENZO AMORE & COLIN CASSADAY (w/Carmella)- good squash
No pre-match promo from Colin & Enzo because these guys are all business right now.

COLIN & ENZO PROMO- awesome!

EMMA & DANA PROMO- fine

ASUKA vs. DEANA PERAZZO- no rating, good squash.
They teased a distraction finish, but instead of getting rolled up and pinned, Asuka kicked her opponent in the head and knocked her out.

HYPE BROS PROMO- MoJo Rawley is an annoying human being

BLAKE, MURPHY, & ALEXA BLISS! BACKSTAGE- good stuff.

ELIAS SAMPSON SINGS- If we’re going to give him a guitar-playing gimmick, can we at least rename him “Jeff James” or something that allows us to call him “The New Double J?”

THE HYPE BROS vs. BLAKE & MURPHY (w/Alexa Bliss!)- 4.25/10
Ummm… what the f*ck was Mojo doing at the beginning there?
Corey Graves on MoJo Rawley: “That’s the problem. If you have an open mind, then people like this get to exist. He should be locked up and shunned by society.”

BAYLEY vs. PEYTON ROYCE- 2/10
Last time we saw her, Royce was a perfectly fine generic babyface. Now they decided to give her a “personality” and a random flower and it comes off as weird. What’s wrong with a generic undercard babyface?

EVA MARIE & NIA JAX PROMO- Eva started talking, but Jax took the mic and said she didn’t need Eva to talk for her… and she was right. Her promo was pretty good.

CREWS & BALOR BACKSTAGE- sets the stage for a Crews getting a title shot to replace the one that Corbin ruined.

SAMOA JOE & BARON CORBIN vs. FINN BALOR & APOLLO CREWS-
This match only got eight minutes (and part of that time was a commercial). They got the heat or Crews, but I thought it would have been better to get the heat on Balor, who is both smaller and the more established star. They did the right finish, though (Joe choked Balor our, but was only able to do so because Corbin shoved Balor off the top rope when Balor was going for the coup de grace).



This felt like one of the old NXT go-home shows where tried to squish so much onto the show that nothing got time, but that’s also because they wasted time with pointless stuff like the Blake & Murphy vs. Hype Bros feud. Other than that one segment, it did manage to do its job quite well.

she already has a heel character in the house shows, so this is likely just the slow transition
