It's an old question, but that's relevant now more than ever.
With WWE creating more female teams and with a good steady roster of female talent from top to bottom mixed with WWE bringing more female matches to PPV.
Could and should WWE bring in Women's Tag Team Championships?

Io and Mio Shirai
Midwest Militia (Kay, Stephie, and Havok)
or Made in Sin (Kay and Made)
The Owens Twins (Blossoms)
Saraya Knight could team with Paige, then betray her and join Su Yung
Legendary to get them off SHINE

Re: Could and should WWE bring in Women's Tag Team Championships?
No. This is the same mistake TNA made in 2009. The women's division caught fire, so they decided to add new belts... except that the division wasn't actually big enough to support both a singles and tag team division simultaneously, so as a result, both suffered from both repetitive match-ups and also the addition of an extra title resulted in both seeing their time cut so neither wound up getting time appropriate to a title match.
I'd much rather see what they are doing know with giving us a women's undercard feud in addition to the title feud.
WWE currently has five titles, so that's five PPV matches, one undercard women's feud, one undercard tag feud, and two undercard male non-tag team feuds should make for a fine PPV card every month.

exactly, it's something that only works with enough teams and good booking. This is something that could work best as a tournament where you don't need to keep teams past the winners are crowned.Big Red Machine wrote:No. This is the same mistake TNA made in 2009.
