A conference call was held with the TNA roster on Tuesday and Dixie Carter officially introduced Anthem Media’s Eric Nordholm as a member of the company’s Board of Managers. Carter said that the Board will be directing the company going forward and praised Anthem for providing capital and resources, saying that Anthem will bring the company to the next level. Nordholm spoke with the roster, saying that the new agreement will be a great opportunity both for TNA and The Fight Network. He praised the roster for their work.
In regard to questions about changes in the creative team, Carter acknowledged that Dave Lagana resigned last week and Billy Corgan wasn’t with the company. She said that the company is going back to a collaborative creative effort with John Gaburick, Matt Conway and Madison Rayne on the current creative team. She said they were looking to hire more people for the creative side.
The idea of a OTT (streaming) network using TNA content was mentioned; it was also said that the company is looking at getting back onto a touring schedule along with strengthening their relationship with their Indian TV partner Sony Six.
The conference call came to an “abrupt end” after an automated message noting that the call was being recorded was heard.
