Isabel Lahela Signs With WWE, Heidi Lovelace gets new NXT Name

-- We can confirm that WWE has signed Canadian olympic weightlifter Isabel Lahela to a developmental contract with the company.

Isabel, 22, is a Toronto, Canada native and an Olympic Weightlifter who won the 48kg weightlifting Junior Ontario Championship in 2014.

Along with being a weightlifter she is also a professional model, personal trainer, and was a professionally trained dancer for fifteen years growing up in Canada.

She has been training at Superkick’d Wrestling in Toronto, Canada since August under the guidance of professional wrestlers Ashley Sixx and Kris Chambers.

Lahela took part in a WWE tryout at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida back in September of 2016 that also featured Kimber Lee, Heidi Lovelace, Jessica James, and many others.

She will be reporting to the WWE Performance Center this April.

-- Recently signed NXT talent Dori Prange known as Heidi Lovelace on the independent scene has been renamed for NXT.

At tonight’s NXT taping at UCF in Tampa, Florida she went under the name Ruby Riot when she faced off and defeated Kimber Lee in the opening match of the tapings.

Prange signed with WWE back in December of 2016 and reported to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida in early January and has been wrestling on NXT houseshows in the state of Florida since.
