AEW Dynamite tops one million viewers for Holiday Bash

Wednesday night's Holiday Bash edition of Dynamite averaged 1.02 million viewers on TNT. That's up 7.6 percent from last week and is the first time the show has topped the one million viewer mark since October 6.

In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite finished second on cable with a 0.37 rating, up 19.4 percent from last week. That tied Dynamite's best number in the demo since October 27 and was just shy of the 0.38 rating that WWE Raw drew this Monday.

A college football bowl game on ESPN finished first on cable, averaging 2.57 million viewers and drawing a 0.57 rating in the demo.

In the individual demo categories, Dynamite was up from the previous week in all categories except for females 12-34 (where the show dropped 25 percent) and people over 50 (where it dropped 2.3 percent). The biggest increase was with men 18-49, where the increase was 27.9 percent.

As compared to the same week in 2020, Dynamite was up 31.6 percent in overall viewership and up 15.6 percent in 18-49. It's the first time Dynamite has had a year-over-year increase in the demo since November 24.
