WWE NXT ratings up for final episode of 2021

Tuesday night's episode of NXT averaged 662,000 viewers on the USA Network, up 5.2 percent from last week. It's the best audience for the show since October 26 and is the second straight week of overall viewership growth for NXT.

In the 18-49 demo, NXT finished 15th on cable with a 0.16 rating, up 45.5 percent from last week. That's also NXT's best rating since October 26.

Ratings were up across every age group with the exception of people over 50. With men 18-49, NXT had a 53.3 percent increase to a 0.23 rating. That was tied for sixth on cable, trailing only four college football bowl games on ESPN and the late edition of SportsCenter that followed the last game.

Though there was competition from college football, there was no NBA game on TNT, which usually does big numbers going head-to-head with NXT.

As compared to one year ago this week, NXT was up 13 percent in overall viewers and up 33.3 percent in 18-49.
