Sting's New Gimmick!!! Yay or Nay???

Post by Big Bad Booty Daddy » Jul 8th, '11, 13:36

Evening All,

Been a while since I've posted on here so thought I'd add my contribution. What I would first like to discuss is Stings new gimmick!! Ever since loosing to Anderson, Sting seems to have a darker role now. It's seems to be alot like Heather Ledgers Joker from The Dark Night!!

But what is everyones opinion on it??

Like it or not?

I didn't know anybody still watched TNA anymore, lol.

That's all I really have to say.

terrible. Sting went from a pretty original gimmick, to ripping off the Crow, to ripping off the Joker; stupid!

My TV's been busted for almost a month now. Someone please elaborate on this new Sting so I may look upon it with disfavor.

I'd rather see him drop from rafters & hit people with baseball bats. But, I still like it. Kinda gives him that edgy attitude that says "Damn," he is about to go apes**t.

Not a fan of the gimmick at all. Sting has the talent and the charisma to go over on his own, and at this point in his career, he certainly doesn't need to be borrowing movie characters. I didn't like The Crow at first, either, but he stuck with it so long it kind of became his own.

In the twilight (no pun intended) of his career, would a run as Steve Borden be so bad?

I agree, he's been called by his real name on TNA television, why not use that as his final run? especially with TNA trying to be "real". I know, not what they meant, but still

My good man... Who said this is his final run though??? I could see another 2-3 years outta him. that 3rd being reduced part time work though.

my point is, he's better off getting out now while he's still decent, not like flair or Hogan who are still trying but are horrible these days

Rob's point is that he can't move well now because he already is worn out. And I fully agree. When was the last time we saw him do anything aside from one of his finishers, a punch, and Irish Whip, or a weak Stinger Splash?

Very good point gentlemen!!!!

The one thing i find about Sting is, i still find him entertaining!!! I dont know what it is but i really still enjoy watching Sting's matches!! Whether he looks bad in it or not!!

I mean i watch matches involving Hogan, Flair, Steiner, Dreamer and Foley and the just bore me. I tend to either fast forward the matches or go out the room and do something til its finished!!!

But with Sting i still enjoy some of his matches!!!

So cannot wait to see him return to the UK next year!!!
