BRM Reviews the 6/3/2012 FCW

LEO KRUGER vs. JASON JORDAN- 6.25/10
Cool new finisher for Kruger.

DEAN AMBROSE & SETH ROLLINS- AWESOME promo by Ambrose. Rollins played his role well

DIVAS SEGMENT- I liked the first part, but I didn’t like the stuff with Paige & Sofia. It felt like too petty of a thing for Paige to do.

BRAY WYATT PROMO- great. I am really enjoying this character.

JIRO vs. BRAY WYATT- good squash

KASSIUS OHNO PROMO- decent

FLORIDA HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Seth Rollins(c) vs. Richie Steamboat- 7.25/10
Started off slow, but a great finishing sequence.

Cesaro rocked on commentary, and this ring announcer is MUCH better than Caylee Turner.

Overall, a GREAT show from FCW.

I caught bits and pieces but didn't see the whole show.

I REALLY dislike Kruger calling himself King of Africa. He's white and it reminds me of Apartheid.

The Divas segment was pretty juvenile, this is wrestling not high school.

Wyatt's promo was really good and dear god, THANK YOU FOR GIVING HIM A DECENT NAME.

For the most part I liked Rollins V. Steamboat. Solid performance.

What kind of gets me are the finishers.
I HATE Kruger's finisher. It looks weak and there's too much motion in it. I know we suspend disbelief when we watch wrestling, but it just looks like there's too much going on with it.

I'm on the fence with Rollin's ghetto stomp. I think that's what its called. The motions of it, I have no problems. But it just looks like he can't get enough force into it to make it look believable.

And the fact that he's from South Africa doesn't help.

I agree.

The name is fine... if only he could pronounce it well. The first few promos he cut thought he was saying "great white."

I have to disagree on both counts.

Yeah, I forgot to mention he's from South Africa which is the icing on this horrible horrible cake.

But Bray Wyatt is so much better than Husky Harris. Well in my opinion it is.

And since we disagree on the finisher part, what in your opinion makes a finisher a finisher?

Look (i.e. how much impact does it look like it has) and believably.

Both of those moves have it.

I just looked at the video again. I did not notice that vile looking neck wrench that Kruger puts into it. I think that part is what really sells the maneuver to me.

I stand by my comment with the ghetto stomp though. I don't think it looks forceful enough.
