Had the "Manson" surname added to his character as a result of a woman named Mary Ann Manson who "stalked" him at WCCW shows.

Foley later said the connection to the stalker aswell as Charlie Manson made him feel very uncomfortable and the surname was dropped

I knew about the last name and why he dropped it, but not the reason for originally having it.
